The UM Global team has had an exciting year, signing 22 new academic collaborations across six continents

These partnerships offer new exchanges of students and professors, joint research projects, and educational collaboration, creating opportunity for innovative intellectual development.

This is excellent news for students, provided that a record nearly 200 UM students signed up to study abroad this semester. The UM also hosts more exchange students every year, enriching UM classrooms with diverse perspectives and globalizing the academic experience.

These new partnerships further strengthen UM's global presence, opening both the university and Uruguay to new corners of the world.
