University students and staff celebrated UM Day with lunch, live music, and surprises.  

After two years of postponing due to the pandemic, the traditional UM Day returned, an event during which University students and staff share the day with special activities.  

 On Wednesday 21st of September more than 500 people gathered in the courtyard of UM’s School of Engineering, located in LATU’s technological park, to enjoy lunch, inflatables, live music, art exhibits and a Holy mass at the start of the day for those that wished to take part. The Student Life department oversaw the coordination of the UM Day.  

The lunch, that was provided by Antón Cocina were topped off with an array of performers and bands, composed of university students.  Additionally, two students and an affiliate of the university shared a series of their works of art in the hall of the building.
